Eye strain...

This day started on the wrong foot... For some reason my eyes got irritated for the first time due to my contacts... It really really hurts... There is some mystery attatched to it because for some reason my left eye contact lens moves up on its own after a few seconds of wearing it... This is the first time it happened and this really sucks... I guess I will wear my glasses for the meantime...

Talking about eye strains, I saw an interesting "propaganda" material plastered on the bus window that I rode going home. For some reason I had the urge to save it on my phone. Here it goes:

GMA-7 at ABS-CBN 50 years nang pinopromote and cheap at bulok na mga drama programs. Kalkulado at nakadisenyo upang masigurado na makontrol at hindi umunlad ang kaalaman, kaunawaan, dunong, at katalasan ng isipan ng masang pilipino, lalo na ang kabataan.

Matalino ka pilipino. Demand a broader view kabataan. INNOVATE, INVENT, and CREATE. Sa inyong angking talino at maunlad na isipan uunlad ang bayan.

Angat mo isip mo mamang driver.
Angat mo kalidad mo mamang driver.
Year 2005 na!

And so the weird "propaganda" message ends. I guess the people who made this are fed up with the kind of shows they see on TV while commuting via the buses. For some reason they always tune into the said channels (mostly GMA-7) and torture commuters with shows like DORA THE EXPLORER (though I admit I kinda learned spanish words from it), SIS, numerous korea/chi-novelas, and the ever so popular noontime shows. I honestly prefer riding a bus with the radio on although the music is always torture as well. Yun lang, just sharing the message.
